Assemble an OceanObs Pitch Team that includes communicators, social scientists, educators, and others who communicate the importance of the ocean to society at large and ensure everyone is working off a single song sheet.
Plan and develop a process study to inform observing system design which addresses issuses like coverage and scientific measurements.
Examine and define GOOS at large, as well as its components and elements.
Include remote sensing in GOOS inventory.
Develop a guidance document (checklist) for funding agencies.
Build a bridge between technology and science.
Synthesize recommendations of the OO19 community white papers and OO RCN meetings to map to Decade.
Identify COVID-funding opportunities in line with impacts on research, operations, etc.
