POSTERS ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS CLOSED

Poster abstract submission and registration is integrated.

  • If you are interested in submitting a poster abstract, the option will be available during your registration process
  • There is a non-refundable $25.00 fee for each poster abstract submitted. Payment is due August 31.
  • Poster abstracts may be added to your registration or edited at any time up until the poster abstract submission deadline.
  • The poster abstract fee will be waived for CWP lead authors submitting a poster highlighting their paper.

POSTER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Poster titles are limited to 300 characters, and poster abstract text is limited to 2,000 characters; including spacing, punctuation.

The person submitting the abstract will automatically be listed as the First and Presenting Author.  The first author cannot be modified.

A first author may elect to designate a co-author to present the poster at the meeting. The presenting author must register for the meeting in order to make the presentation.

Registrants will be limited to ONE poster abstract submission.

LOCATION, SIZING, AND PRINTING:

The poster sessions will be held on the main floor of the Hawaii Convention Center in the Kamehameha Exhibit Hall III. The hall will be open for posters to be placed on the boards beginning on: Monday, September 16th from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and Tuesday-Thursday, 7:30am to 6:00pm.

All final posters must be in the A0 format. Portrait or landscape orientation is acceptable.

The Hawaii Convention Center’s business center is not equipped to print posters. If you would like to print onsite, the FEDEX / Xerox Business Center at the Hilton Hawaiian Village is able to print posters with 48 hour advance notice: For more info, contact: (808)949-0656.

PLEASE NOTE: All information contained in posters presented at Ocean Obs’19 will be available to registered conference participants without restriction. This open access extends to note-taking and photography and video recording of posters while they are on display in the exhibit hall. All accepted posters will be provided with an appropriate citation that should be included on the printed poster.
